7.5” X 12” mixed media painting inspired by the works of Alphonse Mucha. I wanted to portray myself in a serene manner also showing the vulnerable side of my personality.
11x14” mixed media drawing. I was inspired by Game of Thrones and tarot cards. I added some clues in the piece that reveal my personality, background and beliefs. At this point in my life I'm starting to accept myself and my body. I tried not to idealize myself in the piece with thinner or more toned limbs. It's been a real journey of self acceptance that I am struggling with everyday.
11”X 14” mixed media piece using Copics and gel pens. I was inspired by the sadness that I've experienced during our process of trying to conceive and its difficulties. I wanted to show how raw that feeling was and also juxtapose traditional symbols of fertility around me.
